Most freeride-fit shells get the look right; the Men’s GORE-TEX® Hex Jacket backs it up with 150D GORE-TEX® 2L and a non-PFC DWR for truly durably waterproof protection. Mountain Jacket–driven design lines meet serious storm sealing with a two-way YKK® AquaGuard® front zip and secure-zip alpine pockets finished with AquaGuard® zips, overlay-tape detailing, and exaggerated garages.
The North Face rounds it out with covered underarm zips for venting, plus a power-mesh lining that helps keep out snow, and a removable powder skirt with gripper elastic for deep days. Recycled taffeta lining and a sueded chin guard keep it comfortable, while internal organization is on point—stretch-woven pocket organizers, a dedicated pass pocket with goggle wipe, an internal secure-zip pocket, and two mesh drop-ins for gloves or layers.
